Analytics for publishers who run more than one site.
EmbedStats measures page views, video plays and audience across every site you operate, and keeps the data in a database you own. One tag, one set of definitions, one place to read the numbers.
What EmbedStats measures
A consistent view of audience and content across a whole portfolio of sites, without sending your data to a third party.
One measure across every site
The same definitions of visitor, session and page view apply to every property, so figures can be compared and totalled without adjustment.
Video measured alongside pages
Plays are recorded per video and per site in the same event stream as page views, not in a separate tool.
Sources and campaigns
Every visit carries its referrer and campaign, so traffic can be read by where it came from.
Countries and devices
Audience by country and device type, for a single site or for the network as a whole.
Your data, in your database
Events are written to a columnar database on infrastructure you control. Nothing passes through a third-party analytics service.
Dashboards and direct queries
Daily dashboards answer the routine questions. Read-only SQL access answers the rest.
How it works
EmbedStats has three parts, and all of them run on your own infrastructure.
Add the tag
A single first-party script goes on each site. Recording begins as soon as it is in place.
Events are stored
Page views, plays and clicks are written to a columnar database built for high volumes.
Read the results
Open the dashboards for the daily picture, or query the underlying tables directly.
